Research and Planning: Micro element

For my film trailer i am in charge of by myself of the mise-en-scene.

List:

Setting- The setting for the trailer will be set in a study room, as the main character is a student. Make out that she is in her halls at university. Also a clip will be set in the woods, or a park.

Props- Props we will need are, computer, access to facebook, study books, glass(that she knocks over), chair, table, black cloak, bloody knife, lamp.

Costumes- Casual student clothing on college girls, black cloak for killer.

Make up- Make up on students, just usual not to much. If we show killers face, then use white make up and have blood on his face, and dark eyes.Lighting- Low key light most of the way through for the horror effect.

Composition- Concider have things off centre the disorientation to show the space as the audience in horror are waiting to something to come into the off centre space.

Cinematography is an element me and my partner will be sharing for the film trailer.

Would be using Garage Band for creating are sounds/music.

For the non digetic music for are trailer we are thinking of using inspiration from 'Kings of Leon, Closer' as the beat of music relates to are film.

Dial up tone, to computer, the facebook pop up for chat and a new message. Maybe have a voice saying you have one new message, repeating maybe. Disconnect tone also will be used.
